Will Clark Teaching WGS 712 - Queer Theories this Spring
The Women and Gender Studies department is thrilled to welcome Professor Will Clark from the English Department, who will be teaching WGS 712 - Queer Theories this semester!
Will Clark is an Assistant Professor in English Department at SF State. His research, writing, and teaching connect U.S. literary studies, queer studies, and critical race theory. Across his work, he emphasizes the ways in which historical formations around sexuality, race, gender, and nationality contextualize how we understand social, legal, and literary movements in the present, especially the rights and limitations of citizenship. His work has appeared in ASAP/Journal, Nineteenth Century Literature, the Henry James Review, Public Seminar, Inside Higher Ed, and the Los Angeles Review of Books. He is very excited to be teaching in WGS!
