Julietta Hua's areas of interest include feminist theory, human rights and global feminism, Asian American Studies and the implications of the politics of difference in the post-Civil Rights, post-Cold War Era. Her major current project examines US women's human rights discourse and the production of categories like "Third World women" and "feminism" at the turn of the millenium.
